JOB Description: 
Reporting to the Head of Information and Communication Technologies Unit, the main duties related to these posts/positions are: ICT Server and Storage Team Leader shall be responsible for: - daily management of the ICT Server and Storage team composed of Frontex staff members and contractors; - designing, implementing and controlling processes and standards applied with regards to management of ICT Servers and Storage; - managing changes, capacity and evolution of ICT Servers and Storage; - guiding, contributing and supporting ICT and IT-enabled projects in scope of user and integration with ICT Servers and Storage; - liaising with other ICT teams including security, networks, software development, contract management; - initiating and controlling procurement and contracting in scope for ICT Servers and Storage; - conducting research and evaluations for new technology candidates in scope of ICT Servers and Storage; - defining and managing portfolio of ICT services in Servers and Storage area in multiyear perspective; - developing and improving processes and tools in scope of Servers and Storage management under Service Legal Agreement; - developing: business cases, feasibility studies, evaluation of technical solutions, risk assessments and selection of ICT technology; - providing ICT Server and Storage services to its consumers based on Service Level Agreements; - being responsible for 2nd line support in scope of ICT Servers and Storage; - being responsible for continuity, performance and capacity of ICT Servers and Storage; - contributing to the development of enterprise and ICT architectures; - contributing to development of any other processes in ICT unit; - planning and managing of efficient takeover of ICT systems from delivery phase to operations and maintenance; - acting as main systems administrator installing, configuring and managing Windows 2003/2008 Servers and Active Directory Services; - managing and administering virtualization platforms, web servers, application servers, email systems, backup solutions, identity management systems, PKI and electronic signature platforms, system monitoring applications, databases, directory services and other servers and storage components in both MS Windows and Linux environments, on prem and potentially in-cloud; .... ICT Services Project and Portfolio Manager will be responsible for: - management of IT enabled projects to business units; - management of internal ICT projects, specifically in scope of Storage and Servers components; - planning and organizing the work of projects teams, including teams of contractors; - coordinating work of various ICT teams in delivery of ICT services to business users; - liaising and providing proactive support for other Frontex business units in planning, designing, delivering and integrating their business capabilities and related delivery projects; - acting as focal point and business partner representing ICT to specific business area; - initiating and controlling procurement contracts in relation to projects, portfolio and programmes; - managing contractors in delivery projects, assuring and controlling of quality of projects deliverables, accepting deliverables; - developing and improving ICT capabilities, processes and tools in scope of project management, portfolio management and programme management; - developing: business cases, feasibility studies, evaluation of technical solutions, selection of ICT technology for business initiative; - delivering new ICT capabilities to business units by planning and management of portfolio of projects and ICT programmes in multiyear perspective; - ....
