JOB Description: 
Internal control Implementing and monitoring the Internal Control Framework (ICF) and contributing to its effective application in the EPPO;  Coordinating and assessing the internal control system to ascertain whether the components of internal control are present, built into business processes and functioning appropriately across the EPPO;  Ensuring development of standards, methodologies, documentation and tools required for the maintenance and monitoring of the EPPO’s ICF; Managing and monitoring the register of exceptions and proactive identification of potential improvements;  Coordinating timely preparation of EPPO’s planning and reporting documents including providing inputs on the internal controls, indicators, financial and budget information in cooperation with relevant units of the EPPO where relevant;  Preparing presentations and reports regarding the effectiveness of the internal control environment as part of monitoring of its impact on the EPPO’s control mechanisms and processes;  Cooperating in EPPO’s different risk assessment exercises, e.g. those related to the updating of the EPPO’s Business Continuity Plan and fraud risk assessment for ensuring effective implementation and updates of the Anti-Fraud Strategy. Single Programming Document and Annual Activity Report Preparing EPPO’s Single Programming document (SPD) that includes the EPPO’s annual and multi-annual work programmes including liaising with all relevant actors during the SPD drafting process;  Monitoring the implementation of the SPD, including developing relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);  Preparing EPPO’s Consolidated Annual Activity Report (CAAR) and coordinating the work of internal actors in the CAAR drafting process;  Supporting the preparation and the execution of the internal reporting process against the annual and multi annual work programme established through the SPD, and the implementation of that process across the EPPO. Coordination Drafting documents including agendas, programmes, briefing notes and speaking points;  Carrying out or contributing to the development and management of cross-divisional work, including preparing supporting documents;  Performing any other relevant duties in the interest of the service.
