JOB Description: 
ESMA is organising the selection procedure to establish a list of suitable candidates for the position of ICT Officer, and recruit from that list. The ICT Officer is to be employed in one of the profiles below: IT Service Manager • act as Business Relation Manager, by identifying needs and requirements of your customers and ensuring services are described and linked to business outcomes • build the different Services and the appropriate SLAs and OLAs needed to assure the defined service • follow and report on the execution of SLAs and OLAs related to these services • follow the customer satisfaction of the services within scope • ensure up to date service catalog management and improvements • check on regular basis the value of service in regards to the agreed catalogue • manage contracts and or providers in order to ensure agreements and contracts exists in order to respond to identified business needs and agreed SLA • coordinate the personnel providing the service in their daily tasks and manage contracts associated with the services • act as application manager for some services and ensure lifecycle management of the application • act as service portfolio manager • offer innovative solutions that meet clients needs whilst remaining cost effective Project Manager • initiate, plan and coordinate the execution of projects, and deliver the expected results within agreed scope, budget and time frames • be responsible for the management and proper use of allocated project resources, such as human resources, budget and procured services • manage and maintain good relationships with external suppliers • organize meetings with EU work groups to clarify business requirements and functional specifications for IT systems • coordinate the analysis and design work, ensuring alternative solutions are being assessed that fulfil the specified requirements of a new IT system • liaise with other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with IT architecture and compliance with non-functional requirements and policies • adhere to the ESMA’s project management methodology and be responsible for the delivery of mandatory project artefacts • plan and coordinate quality assurance activities for project deliverables Data Scientist • provide specialist expertise in Data Warehouse, Data Analysis and Big Data • data mining using state-of-the-art technologies • building ad-hoc data analyses as demanded by the business • support the Busines Units in developing their Data Science skills and mentor more junior data scientists • develop the processes, procedures and governance around the data science activities • work with the business departments to understand analytical needs and to build prototype analyses and then take those analyses and make them robust for a production environment • work with IT and the business units to implement the data strategy and improve and govern the process and procedures surrounding the processing of data • work with the IT team to develop and shape the solutions to service the ongoing and upcoming business needs • liaise with service providers to help maintain the existing systems and advise on how to implement changes • provide support to the business units and IT to resolve incidents within the Data Science suite of tools IT Supervisor • be responsible for conducting different IT and information security supervisory activities within the RIS department • deal with IT and information security issues and risks in the context of the registration of companies under ESMA direct supervision mandates • perform IT and information security supervisory activities in the context of investigations and on-site inspection
