SatCen is seeking suitable candidates to fill the GIS DevOps Officer - Augmentee position and establish a reserve list. The GIS DevOps Officer - Augmentee collaborates and provides technical support to SatCen’s Operations Division on the developing processes, tools and methodologies to balance the team needs throughout the development life cycle, from coding and implementation to maintenance and updates, including the deployment of GIS Web Services. The GIS DevOps Officer - Augmentee will be responsible, amongst others, for the following duties: Job Description: • In coordination with the Operations Division and end-users inputs, performs the analysis, design, development, integration, testing and maintenance of tools and services implemented within a GIS Database architecture; • Improvement and optimisation of the integrated support production, management and publication tools • Contribution to the optimisation of operational production workflows; • Requirement gathering, proposal of technical solutions and implementation tools in coordination with other SatCen divisions and Teams; • Writing of support and implementation-related documentation • Reports to the Team Leader and/or the Deputy Team Leader regarding all issues related to any assigned task, in particular as regards planning, preparation and execution; • Supports the Team Leader and/or the Deputy Team Leader with the provision of training, as directed by the Operations Manager / Head of Division; • Participates in the definition/optimisation of methodologies and working procedures as requested; • Handles multiple tasks, paying close attention to priorities and tight deadlines; and, • Performs any other duties, appropriate to the grade, in the interest of the service as assigned by the Operations Managers, the Team Leader and/or the Deputy Team Leader
