Under the overall responsibility of the Head of IT Unit, the Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing and maintaining the data architectures and processing that the EBA’s analytical and data dissemination products will use. As an expert in data processing, he/she provides technical expertise, designs and implements data pipelines, integrations, staging, storing & quality processing, using data infrastructure both cloud and on-premises, working in Project/Product teams with internal and external contributors/stakeholders at various levels, always ensuring full compliance with the EBA’s policies and standards, contributing to and implementing the EBA’s IT Architecture, Security and Technology Strategy and Standards.
